The region

The Languedoc Roussillon region and the Gard have varied landscapes.

Our region, near the Cevennes and the Mediterranean, is surrounded by archaeological remains. The scrubland that surrounds Uzes is very typical of Provence. The plants that are present are often used in our kitchen as well as for body care and perfume for the home.

We are close to the Camargue and its large wetlands, its bull farms and rice paddies. Discover this incredible landscape on foot, by bike or on horseback thanks to the many stables around the Uzes hotel.
